You should think of this as a de facto “release” in so much as you’re creating a new format for your music. While we encourage you to reach deep and send us some ancient demos or tracks fresh off ProTools, it’s cool if you’re submitting songs that’ve already been in circulation for a while. Regardless, you’re still presenting something “new” (and free!) to your audience. Put some thought into it — pick a smash hit A-Side, guaranteed to hook some new fans, then hit us with a B-side that’s a bit more obscure and maybe gives us something to think about.
